The problem is that for about 100 years or so the American people have been brainwashed into believing the government's job is to take care of people instead of protecting the people's rights. Sheeple see themselves as children and the "wise" politicians as their parents, confusing "kind" tyranny with charity. There shouldn't be any such thing as food stamps, welfare, social "security", Medicare, Medicaid, etc. Put the responsibility for Christian charity back on the people instead in the hands of dictators.

Lar of Galen...Poverty results from a lack of freedom and opportunity. Lack of freedom and opportunity results from adhering to tyrannical systems. Tyrannical systems breed terrorism. The solution, as usual, is the proper applications of explosive force. Sometimes a bullet in the head is enough, sometimes you need nukes.

I said the same thing when evirowhackos tried to stop lumber operations in the 80s/early 90s because of an owl -- as if they couldn't make their nest a few miles further away. And clearing the land makes it easier for them to hunt. It stirs up the rodents while reducing their places to hide. And little known truth: Lumber companies replace the old-growth trees with new ones, which are net producers of oxygen. In fact, they replace more than they cut (Holy renewable resources, Batman!!). I forget the exact figure, but there are exponentially more trees in the American west than in the 1800s. When early explorers reported that The Great Plains were an "endless ocean of grass" void of features, they were not exaggerating. Another "fun" fact: Lack of foresting is a major contributor to California's massive wildfires. Stupid, stupid liberals. I wish judges would levy stiff fines when liberals file specious lawsuits

Lar of Galen...The difference between capitalism and welfare mentality. When you buy something, you put money in people's pockets, and give them dignity for their skills.
When you give someone something for nothing, you rob them of their dignity and self-worth. Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value.
Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down your throat that you never asked for.
