It just prohibits "cruel and unusual" punishment -- which was aimed at the abuses colonists suffered at the hands of the English, primarily their military. It doesn't mean you can't hang a criminal because he suffers "mental anguish" about the probable loss of bowel control after being publicly hanged. It shows the insanity of liberalism that people worry more about the feelings of deranged scum than they do about protecting society.

I think Netanyahu is being petty. Just because someone hates you and wants you to be exterminated is no reason to be disrespectful. That's just plain racist, just like the Philadelphia police who were escorting people out of the area while under fire. Pigs! Of course, the poor "Palestinians" might not have much of a complaint if they had taken the original UN deal, and would stop firing rockets into Israel after they gave the Arabs land they had no obligation to give.

Why should they be required to let in people leading a boycott against them? The boycotters have now been boycotted.

Congresswomen Tlaib and Omar are leading activists in promoting the legislation of boycotts against Israel in the American Congress. Only a few days ago, we received their itinerary for their visit in Israel, which revealed that they planned a visit whose sole objective is to strengthen the boycott against us and deny Israel’s legitimacy. For instance: they listed the destination of their trip as Palestine and not Israel, and unlike all Democratic and Republican members of Congress who have visited Israel, they did not request to meet any Israeli officials, either from the government or the opposition.
A week ago, Israel warmly welcomed some 70 Democratic and Republican members of Congress, who expressed broad bipartisan support for Israel, which was also demonstrated a month ago in a resounding bipartisan vote against BDS in Congress.
However, the itinerary of the two Congresswomen reveals that the sole purpose of their visit is to harm Israel and increase incitement against it.

Lar of Galen...A retired Navy LtCdr called in to Hannity to point out the whole purpose of the 2nd Amendment was that citizens would have weapons that would be on par with the military so they could prevent government oppression. It wasn't about hunting or even self-defense against criminals. It was to protect us from the government if it ever turns against us. As I have pointed out occasionally, when the 2nd Amendment was written, the militia was independent of the national military, and the people were carrying the same guns as the military. So, the next time a person challenges the need for a civilian to have an "assault rifle" or a 100-round magazine (which is damned rare and expensive), ....
