If even ten percent of those fighters are willing to die for radical Islam in a blaze of gunfire, that's 78.

The Paris attacks were conducted with a third of that number.

For a moment, it seemed like the press had finally grasped the staggering failure of Obama’s strategy. One reporter after another asked the dyspeptic and defensive president why we weren’t making better progress against these rapists, slavers, and murderers. They repeated the question because Obama kept saying his strategy was working. He described the slaughter in Paris as the kind of “setback” we should expect from a successful strategy. Even liberals were aghast at Obama’s failure to appreciate the “theater” of his job. Oh, but he gets it. Put aside the fact that his “strategy” was always theater to begin with. His phony war on the Islamic State was always more about seeming to do something while running out the clock until his successor inherits his mess. Obama knew the media would take their eye off the ball if he distracted them with a passion play about GOP bigotry. He ridiculed Republicans for their cowardice and cruelty in raising concerns about the potential security threats posed by Syrian refugees. Never mind that such caution is informed in part by warnings from the heads of Obama’s CIA, FBI, and DHS. Obama ludicrously mocked the idea that we prioritize Christian refugees -- victims of Islamic State genocide – as an Islamophobic “religious test” that was “not American,” even though his administration already gives special preference to Yazidi refugees from Iraq and federal law requires taking religion into account when screening refugees. For Obama, politics ends at the water’s edge, unless he’s speaking abroad. Obama’s dithering sparked the refugee crisis. He’s now using a smattering of refugees as a cynical prop to prove he’s the hero of his own morality tale. The reality is that he’s a villain in his own theater of the absurd. And we’re the suckers in the audience falling for it. 2.) THE SECRETARY OF STATE Twice in a matter of days he has distinguished himself as a particularly moronic fop. At the U.S. embassy in Paris Tuesday, he did it again, with perhaps his most obnoxious, tone-deaf public pronouncement yet. Speaking to State Department staffers, he compared the two Muslim terrorist massacres in France this year -- shooting up the magazine offices of Charlie Hebdo and then last Friday’s celebration of diversity, which left 129 dead. “There’s something different about what happened (Friday) from Hedbo,” the 71-year-old Yale graduate said, “and I think everybody would feel that. There was a sort of particularized focus and perhaps even a legitimacy in terms of -- not legitimacy -- but a rationale that you could attach yourself to somehow and okay they’re really angry because of this or that.” Yes, he backed off, immediately and then again yesterday. But however you parse it, he rationalized slaughtering people for exercising free speech. Given his long history of foolish pronouncements, he couldn’t just retire to the sidelines in shame. He had to continue on. He followed on Thursday with a claim that Al Qaeda had been neutralized by the administration. Hours later the al-Qaeda group Al-Mourabitoun attacked a hotel in Mali, killing an estimated 27 people and holding about 170 others hostage. Special Forces which are not dumb and cowardly saved the hostages, but we’re still stuck with Kerry. 3.) HILLARY CLINTON Kerry’s predecessor in office and the Democratic Party’s leading candidate Hillary Clinton continued the pattern of speaking incoherent nonsense: Blaming “radical Islamic terrorism” for vicious attacks of the sort that killed 129 people last Friday in Paris, she said, “is not just a distraction.” Affiliating them with a religion, Clinton insisted, “gives these criminals, these murderers, more standing than they deserve and it actually plays into their hands by alienating partners we need by our side.” [snip] Since Muslims have nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism, the phrase “radical Islamic terrorism” is forbidden. Instead, Hillary referred repeatedly to “radical jihadism” as the enemy. This represents some weird sort of confusion on her part. Does she think that jihadists are not Muslims, and that jihad has nothing to do with Islam? Is it her impression that jihad is an ecumenical concept, so that jihadist Hindus and Buddhists carry out acts of terrorism? 4.) COLLEGE STUDENTS Particularly vulnerable to this rapidly expanding disease of dumb are college students. The Center can hardly keep track of it all. Here are some reports which we’ve logged this week. A student at Columbia University is urging the school to inject more diversity into its required courses, claiming she suffered severe emotional trauma from reading too many books by and about white people. Columbia students and faculty gathered Wednesday night for a panel discussion on “Race, Ethnicity, and University Life.” According to the Columbia Daily Spectator, much of the commentary revolved around the idea that minorities on campus simply spend too much time being traumatized by the white-centric content of their classes. At Princeton, black students are demanding segregation by race. “In a letter to Princeton’s president Eisgruber, the Black Justice League declared that the university is accountable for improving "the social and academic experiences of its black students at Princeton." Among its calls for change “[T]he Black Justice League is demanding obligatory cultural competency training for faculty and staff. In addition, the group wants students to be required to take courses on the "the history of marginalized peoples," [snip] and for a campus cultural space for black students only.” At the tiny Quaker college Guilford the students made a number of demands, among these it wants Black students out of  marketing campaigns until Guilford addresses its diversity issues. [snip] By the academic year 2017-18, Guilford increases the percentage of black faculty and staff members campus­wide by 10 percent. [snip] Annual reports and open forums with the heads of public safety concerning diversity and treatment of black bodies on campus. [snip] A plan for the end of exploitation of black male athletes. [snip] That school administrators, professors, staff, and student leaders acknowledge their racism, be it overt covert or passive. [snip] An investigation to the extent of the school’s ability into hateful Yik Yak posts and comments. Dumber still are the school administrators who are caving in to many of the silliest of the demands just as Yale has. Yale President Peter Salovey has announced, in response to the protests, a series of initiatives to create a “more inclusive Yale.” Rubin focuses on Salovey’s promise to double funding for Yale’s four “cultural centers,” the Afro-American Cultural Center, the Asian American Cultural Center, La Casa Cultural, and the Native American Cultural Center. [snip] In a statement, Salovey says that “race, ethnicity, and other aspects of social identity are central issues of our era, issues that should be a focus of particularly intense study at a great university.” [snip] Of course, as Salovey notes, Yale already has a number of programs by means of which students can pursue an interest in “race, ethnicity, and other aspects of social and racial identity.” Yale students can major in, among other areas, African-American Studies, American Studies (which emphasizes “construction of local, indigenous, borderland, and diasporic communities”), Ethnicity, Race, and Migration, and Women’s Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Here is a very partial listing of courses available in the fall semester  of 2015 for students with interests President Salovey thinks underserved:  Gender in a Transnational World; Introduction to American Indian History; U.S. Lesbian and Gay History; Freedom and Identity in Black Culture; African American History from Emancipation to the Present; Asian American History; American Captivity Narratives; Native American and Indigenous Literatures; Race and Capitalism; Urban Injustice Narratives in The Wire; Postwar Queer Avant Garde Film; Writing Tribal Histories; Plantation, Prison, and Ghetto in the United States; Black Atlantic Photography. I fear that the promised “additional teaching staff and courses” might overburden students compelled to choose among so many offerings. [snip] Salovey presumably means by “exciting scholarship represented by these and related areas,” the scholarship emerging out of fields like ethnic studies, Asian American Studies, Women’s and Gender Studies, and African American Studies. These fields are self-consciously politicized and probably outstrip all others in the percentage of scholars who hold the view that the United States is a white supremacist, settler colonialist, “heteropatriarchal,” and militaristic society that requires much more than mere reform to be set right. Actually, I think the answer is simpler and cheaper -- Stop Affirmative Action. Much of the turmoil on campus is the product of the admission of African-Americans many of whom are significantly less qualified than their fellow students. They cannot keep up with rigorous academic majors and resent those who can, clinging to nonsense like “white privilege” to excuse their  inadequate academic preparation. To assure the graduation of such students, universities create meager and silly academic offerings like those at Yale about which Juan Williams once wrote that he saw the wisdom of the saying that it had ruined more black minds than crack.  Once graduated with these goofball majors the only jobs available for them will be  academic jobs offering more of the same to the next generation. Besides offering this second tier jobs, this also serves   to fill “diversity” quotas, which could not be met if these graduates had to pass more rigorous vetting and tenure procedures of genuine academic subjects. It’s just dumb to ignore this, and to hollow out the once world class universities in the service of political correctness. 5.) Masters of the IT Universe. Match Group, the Dallas-based online dating company, goes public Thursday -- in the business sense. ButWednesday, the top executive of  [Tinder] their biggest brand went public in another way, sharing the details of his personal life in an interview with London’s Evening Standard.” Tinder co-founder and CEO Sean Rad, 29 during the federally mandated “quiet period” in the weeks before the shares of this “hook up” app went public was “discussing his preference for “intellectual” girls whom his “friends might think ugly,” Rad told the Evening Standard, “Apparently there’s a term for someone who gets turned on by intellectual stuff. You know, just talking. What’s the word?” He furrowed his brow. “I want to say ‘sodomy’?” 6.) Even Food Writers Were Attacked By the Dumb Virus. (Read this with some caution as it may itself cause dumbing): The Feminist Guide to Being a Foodie Without Being Culturally Appropriative. The author  Ms Kuo “is in designing curriculum and also communications strategy for social justice education initiatives. Currently, she works full-time at NYU’s Center for Multicultural Education and Programs.” She whines: When it comes to food, what’s appropriation and what’s not can be tricky to think about. Cultural appropriation is when members of a dominant culture adopt parts of another culture from people that they’ve also systematically oppressed. The dominant culture can try the food and love the food without ever having to experience oppression because of their consumption. With food, it isn’t just eating food from someone else’s culture. It might not be appropriation if you’re White and you love eating dumplings and hand pulled noodles. Enjoying food from another culture is perfectly fine. But, food is appropriated when people from the dominant culture –- in the case of the US, white folks –- start to fetishize or commercialize it, and when they hoard access to that particular food. When a dominant culture reduces another community to it’s cuisine, subsumes histories and stories into menu items -- when people think culture can seemingly be understood with a bite of food, that’s where it gets problematic. It’s also harmful when the dominant culture controls the economic and material resources to produce that food for their own consumption and profit. Whole Foods and taco trucks are apparently the vanguard of the fat, rich white capitalists, stealing the burritos and sushi out of the mouths of the “marginalized” oppressed who did everything they could to make it our shores. CDC has been working hard to control the dumb virus. Our advice as we work on a vaccine against it is to turn off the damn television set. Read the press as you would anything else -- with a skeptic’s eye, not as a passive receiver of collective wisdom. I would hope most Americans now realize that seven years of Obama and liberal feel good leadership has achieved nothing. The liberals left believed that if we appeased Radical Muslims we could change their hearts and minds. Paris and all of Europe shows us that providing entitlements, jobs and understanding do little to stop the spread of radical Islam barbarianism.

2016 will be critical for America and most of western civilization. Will we acquiesce to the naïve insanity of the liberals or will we recognize these barbarians must be met with hard men willing to kill them to save our futures?

Republicans do not seem heads and shoulders above the democrats, but they are our only hope.

Mizzou Student Asks Ben Shapiro if Abortion Should Be Legal in Cases of Rape

A University of Missouri college student asked conservative pundit Ben Shapiro Thursday night if abortion should be permitted in cases of rape — and the New York Times bestselling author had a blunt response to the question.
Shapiro, who said that rapists should either be killed or castrated, said the issue of rape and abortion were “unrelated” to one another.
“Killing babies is wrong. Okay, these are two separate questions,” he told the Mizzou student. “They have nothing to do with one another. Connecting these two things is like saying, ‘I was raped, therefore I get to go shoot an unrelated person.’”
The “Bullies” author argued that the political left often asks about rape while discussing abortion to introduce confusion.
“The two are unrelated. It’s an emotional argument to muddy the waters,” he said. “It’s amazing to me because the same people on the left who say, ‘Well, shouldn’t a raped woman be allowed to abort her baby?’ These are the same people who want to release rapists from prison after five years.”
Shapiro told students that the best way to decrease the frequency of rape would be to implement strict punishment for those found guilty of committing the crime.
“If you really want to stop this from happening, here’s a solution: go prosecute, castrate and kill rapists,” he said. “That’s a really good solution.”
“I have another solution,” Shapiro added. “Let women carry guns and teach them how to use them. So any time they are in a position of rape, they shoot the guy. The left’s solution seems to be to stop the baby, my solution is to stop the rape.”

Shapiro’s talk at the University of Missouri was, in part, sponsored by the conservative Young America’s Foundation.

Lar of Galen...Rush Limbaugh relayed a report yesterday by the Chair of the Defense Committee, revealing that US warplanes assigned to strike ISIS targets in Syria are returning from their sorties with 75% of their ordnance because they can’t get clearance.  BO has declared all their oil facilities and oil transportation off-limits because “civilians” are involved.  So, Rudy of the East is 100% right that BO is conducting a phony war for propaganda purposes.

EDUMACATION...

But the first thing to do is to ask: What is education?

L: Okay, I'll bite. What is it?

Doug: Education is the process of learning how to perceive and analyze reality correctly. That would include subjects like ethics, science, history, and important literature.

L: What about logic? You'd have to include logic.

Doug: Yes, definitely. All things of that nature. The ancients developed the idea of liberal arts, which had a different meaning to them than our current usage. The root of "liberal" is "liber," meaning free. So the liberal arts were subjects that a free man (as opposed to a slave or a menial) was assumed to be acquainted with. They were divided into the arts and the sciences. The idea was, these things gave you the tools of thought and the building blocks of culture. They were distinct from the mechanical arts, which were means of earning a living. You'd learn the mechanical arts as an apprentice.

Put it this way. The quality of a person can be determined by how he relates to three critical verbs: Be, Do, and Have. The classical liberal arts show you how to "be"; they help form your essence, your character, your will. The mechanical arts show you how to "do"; they are impor­tant, but really are just acquired skills. As a consequence of what you are and what you can do, you "have"; acquire goods and money and reputa­tion.

But it seems pretty clear that most people have the sequence totally backward. They want the "have" part, the material goods, but they don't understand it flows as a consequence of being something and having the ability to do something. Having things is trivial. It's why trailer-park trash will win a million-dollar lottery and wind up back on the dole a year later.

I fear that most of what kids get today, whether in grade school, high school, college, or post-grad, is not education. It’s training.

Entirely apart from that, it seems to me that most institutions degrade as time passes. They naturally and inevitably become constipated, concrete-bound, and corrupt. That certainly appears to have happened to education in the U.S., and probably most other countries.

I'm sure you've seen that eighth-grade test from 1895 that's been floating around the Internet for some years. Snopes.com had a go at debunking it, but they didn't claim the test isn't real, and it does cover a lot of basic stuff few people today know anything about. What every educated person should know may change from age to age, but the basics ofthinking and its application to language, science, etc. are enduring. And there are certain minimums of knowledge, tools for living, that everyone should have. The U.S. education system is not delivering these basics.

Training is different. Training is rote learning with a view towards productive behavior in the future. It's what you'd learn on the job, as an apprentice laborer. This would cover most high school and college courses, which are not designed to produce educated young people but useful em­ployees, ready to enter the labor force. But they don't even do that well.

I'll go further. Most schools today are state schools or, if they are not state schools, they teach state-approved curricula. There's an implicit orientation to train the kids to be good little cogs in the wheel, as in obedient subjects, and as opposed to independent thinkers and citizens. That's probably the most important reason not to send your kids to a state school.

Homeschooling is a great alternative, though so many homeschoolers are religious fanatics, they've given the whole idea an unfortunate and undeserved aura of nuttiness. And in my view, filling your kids' heads with all sorts of religious superstition is no better than filling their heads with statist superstition. What they need is a classical education in the liberal arts starting in grade school.

L: Do you really think homeschooling has such a bad reputation? Aren't homeschooled kids burning up the track at the spelling bees, geography bees, etc.?

Doug: Perhaps it depends on which circles you travel in. You homeschool, and you're not religious, so maybe you see things differently. But my sense is that media portrayal tends to emphasize the religious homeschoolers, and perhaps rightly so, since they constitute (I believe) the majority of homeschoolers.

But I'll give you a good reason to favor homeschooling, regardless of who most homeschoolers are. I had a good enough time in school, and I generally enjoyed the social interaction with the other kids. But it was a misallocation of my time; there's little of value you can learn from other kids. It's simply a bad idea to put your kids in an environment where they spend most of the day associating with young yahoos, many or most of whom have a lot of bad habits. The average school is full of unrefined young chimpanzees. Sure, kids need to learn how to work together and socialize, but school is not the only, and certainly not the best, place to do that.

Another reason is that every class, like a group traveling together, tends to move at the pace of the slowest kids in the group. An environment tailored for the lowest common denominator bores the smart kids to tears…or trouble. I was perpetually bored and distracted by the "one size fits all" program of my schools.

It's the same in college, which was an even more serious misallocation of four years of my time and a bunch of my parents' money. And it's much worse today, in either current or constant dollars.

Like most of my friends, I'd end up cutting a lot of classes, because I'd stayed up too late the night before. When I did go to class, I'd fall asleep half the time. And even fully awake, my mind would wander and I wouldn't take good notes, so then I wouldn't bother reading the notes. Of course you learn stuff, but I think it's mostly through osmosis. Entirely apart from the fact that the professors varied greatly in quality.

Most people go to college today because they actually think someone is going to give them an education, when in fact, an education is something you have to give yourself.

You absolutely do not need a college to do that. The old saw about "Those who can, do, and those who can't, teach" is all too true. Professors can't educate anyone, though a few of the good ones can help motivated students educate themselves. But the college business is now structured like a manufacturing business; Aristotle and Seneca wouldn't know what to make of it.

L: My Webster's dictionary says the word educate has two roots: e-, "out," and ducere, "lead, draw, or bring." In other words, to draw out, or bring out what's in the student's ability to grasp and remember…not to cram whatever the teacher thinks is important into the student's head.

Doug: That's what "education" today fails to do and why it's such a waste of money. There is no point at all in going to a college today, unless you're looking to learn a trade. Or, perhaps, because the people you meet in college might be of some future benefit to you. In other words, it's pointless unless it's Harvard, Princeton, Yale, or the like. Because of the classes? No. It's because the kids that go to such schools are the most intelligent and ambitious "up and comers," so the connections you make and the patina you get at these places can open a lot of doors.

But if you look closely, the very best and brightest, people like Bill Gates or Steve Jobs, drop out or don't even go.

I would suggest that a parent thinking of allocating $40,000 to $50,000 per year for four years of college education instead grubstake their kid with that same money. You could even make it a fraction of that, to be put into actually doing something like starting a business or trying out different investment strategies, and get a lot more experience and knowl­edge for your kid as a result.

You certainly don't need a college to gain knowledge. For example, there's an outfit called The Teaching Company that hires the very best professors in the world in all sorts of subjects to deliver superb audio courses. I listen to these things all the time in the car. I watch the ones that have important visual components on my computer, and I can go back and repeat anything I don't understand clearly when my mind is receptive to it. It's much more effective than going to college would be, and it's vastly cheaper. Superior in every possible respect.

Another thing I'd do if I had a college-age kid is plan out a travel schedule. He'd have to spend at least a month in a dozen countries and report on what he does there. Travel may be the single best type of education, at least if done with a method and an objective.

There are many ways to get an education besides going to college…and going to a second-rate, third-rate, or community college is a complete waste of time and money. It serves no useful purpose whatsoever.

This cartoon, which I found in a Geert Wilders tweet, is the pictorial match to something I said to someone today about the so-called “moderate muslims”, that they might not be violent, but they are supporting Islam and making it possible for the more extreme ones to be violent.

If you stop thinking of Islam as a religion and start thinking about it as a form of totalitarianism, and instead of likening Muslims to Christians you liken Muslims to Nazis, then you realize the concept of “moderate muslims” is absurd. Those who are moderate are simply not practicing Islam faithfully. But they still support it.

I’m convinced now that the US, Canada, and European countries should implement a complete and total ban of Islam. If Muslims want to practice their totalitarianism somewhere, then they’ll have to do it in a Muslim country. There are plenty of those crapholes to choose from.

Give me a break, New York Times. The Paris terrorists were 100 percent Middle Eastern, although most were born in Muslim ghettos in Europe.

After 50 years of the most backward, dysfunctional cultures pouring into the civilized world, the media are forced to blatantly lie to us whenever immigrants attack: This has nothing to do with refugees! Ismail Omar Mostefai is “a Frenchman.”

Ismail is “French” in the same way that Caitlin Jenner is a “woman.” That doesn’t mean we can draw no conclusions about the relative strength of men and women, even though a “woman” won the decathlon at the 1976 Olympics.

The fact that only one of the terrorists was part of the current “refugee” flow proves we’re facing something much bigger than a refugee problem: We can’t assimilate them. These days, second-generation immigrants are just as likely to shoot up Fort Hood as the first-generation Tsarnaev brothers are to blow up the Boston Marathon.

The insistent demand for an endless flow of Third World immigrants to the West goes well beyond cheap labor for the rich. It has become a mass psychosis.

Why should we act as if our cultures are better than those that haven’t made advanced scientific discoveries, such as that women are human beings? That would be “xenophobic”! Successful countries must allow themselves to be overrun by backward cultures so that no country thinks it’s better than another.

This psychosis runs so deep that even a father who was with his 12-year-old son at the Bataclan theater during the attack refused to notice anything distinctive about the shooters. Asked to describe one assailant’s face on CNN, the man replied, “He looked like a young fellow.”

He was young! Fantastic — bring the police sketch artist!

While liberals’ idea of retaliation is to post the French flag on their Twitter profiles, Republicans think the way to get tough is to go to war in Syria.

Marco Rubio gives macho speeches about a military attack on ISIS — “either they win or we win!” — to distract from the fact that his immigration bill would have massively increased the number of needy immigrants pouring into our country — including Muslim refugees.

So Rubio’s plan for Middle East stability is to start more wars and then import all the displaced terrorists into the United States. Brilliant!

Not to be a stickler, but ISIS didn’t slaughter 3,000 Americans on 9/11, blow up the Boston Marathon, murder nine Americans at Fort Hood, or open fire on a military recruiting center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

ISIS didn’t kill Kate Steinle, commit mass murder on the Long Island Railroad, introduce Palo Mayombe and Santeria to our country, bring slaves and concubines from India to San Francisco, or burn down hundreds of acres of national parks to evade border agents.

ISIS doesn’t import 90 percent of the illegal drugs that kill thousands of Americans every year, steal billions of dollars from Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, or rape little girls, nuns and dogs in our country.

ISIS isn’t responsible for Sweden suddenly becoming the rape capital of the world, the Eritrean asylum seeker who stabbed a mother and a son to death at an Ikea store in Vasteras a few months ago, or the Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh being stabbed to death on a street in Amsterdam.

All that — and more! — is the result of Third World immigration to the First World.

The West’s importation of Stone Age people is a completely self-inflicted wound. It’s as if the civilized world decided to amputate a leg. You know what? We’re too healthy and pure. Peg legs are stylish!

The idea that the only way to stop Third World immigrants from murdering Westerners is for our military to remake foreign hellholes into “proud, functioning and viable member(s) of the community of nations” — as Madeline Albright said when we sent troops to Somalia in 1993 — goes back to the Left’s “root causes” theory.

Instead of imprisoning criminals, liberal judges in the 1960s decided that we must tackle the “root causes” of crime by addressing PID: poverty, ignorance and disease. To fight crime, we’d deploy welfare, Head Start and school lunch programs!

For the next two decades our streets ran with blood. Americans finally rose up in a blind rage and demanded that criminals be separated from the law-abiding.

Similarly, we wish the best for all the barbaric, misogynistic, pedophilic, illiterate nations of the world. But the main thing we want is for our government to keep them away from us.

Isn’t keeping murderers out of the country literally the least our government can do? America has been pretty generous to the rest of the world, taking in more than twice as many refugees as the rest of the world combined. As Donald Trump says, now we need a “pause.”

Rubio’s war in Syria to stop terrorism at home is the Republican version of Clinton’s “midnight basketball” to stop street crime. Pay no attention to all those murderous migrants — we’ll fix that by rebuilding their home nations!

True, a war against ISIS might “send a message.” But we were hoping to send a different message: Stay home.

No, It Is Not Un-American to Prefer Christian Refugees to Muslim Refugees

On Friday, Muslim terrorists murdered 129 people in Paris. At least one of the ISIS perpetrators apparently entered Europe as a “refugee” from Syria — he was found with a refugee ID. ISIS has already claimed that they have infiltrated the Syrian refugee population to the tune of thousands of terrorists.

On Monday, President Obama announced that it would be purely un-American for Westerners to ban unvetted Muslim immigrants from the Middle East while allowing Christian targets of genocide to enter the West. He called such an idea “shameful,” while passionately calling for Americans to “open our hearts” to more refugees. He praised bordering countries Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon for taking in hundreds of thousands of refugees; Obama said that showed their “belief in a common humanity.” He added, “And so we have to, each of us, do our part. And the United States has to step up and do its part. And when I hear folks say that, well, maybe we should just admit the Christians but not the Muslims …That’s not American. That’s not who we are.”

Every aspect of this little speech is wrong. Turkey, Jordan and Lebanon aren’t taking in Muslim refugees out of some great commitment to common humanity. They’re doing so because their other choice involves setting up fences and machine guns to stop the waves of refugees crossing their frontiers. And as we know, Muslim countries have a rotten history of absorbing fellow members of their ummah: For 70 years, since the creation of the State of Israel, tens of thousands of Palestinian Arabs have lived in refugee camps located in Muslim lands. By contrast, the State of Israel has taken in every Jewish refugee seeking asylum, from Russian emigres to Moroccan immigrants, from Ethiopian refugees to Syrian expatriates.

And the West has good reason for skepticism toward Muslim refugees. While Muslim refugees who stay in the Middle East split evenly between males and females, the vast majority of refugees entering Europe are males of fighting age. Muslim immigration has already led to massive increases in crime from France to Sweden, and cultural fragmentation from Great Britain to Austria. Terrorism is only the latest threat — and even that threat is obviously not exaggerated. Vetting refugees from Syria is nearly impossible given its status as a failed state. Vetting Muslim refugees is totally impossible given the fact that radical Muslims can easily masquerade as less-radical Muslims.

So why does President Obama, along with the global left, seek more Muslim immigration? Because President Obama does not believe that Islam, as a religious philosophy, presents any threat to the West. He believes that radical Islam doesn’t exist. It’s merely the hallmark of global poverty, probably affected negatively by climate change; if the West redistributed its wealth, ceased its “colonial” attitudes toward the Middle East, all would be well. The materialism of Marxism would win the day.

Never mind that this argument is entirely without evidence. Never mind that Muslims from Western nations have left wealth to join the impoverished ISIS fighters. Never mind that Osama Bin Laden himself was a wealthy man who lived in a cave to plan attacks against Westerners. Ideology matters, but to the self-centered Marxists of the global left, only their ideology matters: Everyone else has merely fallen into nasty ideas thanks to lack of resources.

And so we must give them our resources, endanger our own citizens. To do anything else would be un-American, according to the people whose idea of Americanism involves the rejection of the very ideas upon which America was built.

A woman called in to Mark Levin’s show tonight.  Her son has been in the US military for 12 years, and is currently stationed in Germany.  His wife, a German citizen, and her young children gathered up toys to take to the young children among the Syrian “refugees” in their city.  There weren’t any.  BO claims that these “refugees” are largely women and children, fleeing violence.  He is, as usual, lying.  They are overwhelmingly young men of military age.  I say again, they are coming here because 1) If they stay, they will have to fight for either their government or  for ISIS – risking death either way,  2) To take advantage of our insane welfare systems and help overwhelm our society,  3) To commit acts of terror, or  4) Some combination of the previous three.  Bottom line, they are coming to tear us down and subjugate us to Islam.  If you doubt my supposition, ask yourself:  Why would hundreds of thousands of Muslims by-pass Muslims neighbors to come to the West, to distant foreign lands for whose cultures they proclaim disdain?  It can’t be for any good reason.

How is it they were able to get so far before someone noticed that their passports were poorly-made fakes?  And notice that their first 2 stops were Muslim countries.  The American people must wake up! This whole immigrant scheme is not a matter of “compassion”.  ONE MORE TIME:  Why would “refugees” by-pass their cousins and travel great distances to settle in countries whose culture they disdain?  There can be no good, reasonable answer for this. They have evil intentions. WW III is and has been happening, and we are actually importing the enemy to be amongst us instead of destroying them over there. This is all sheer insanity.  I suspect we are living in the End Times, but then .. we have been since the completion of the canon, and can’t count on being “beamed up” from this mess.
