GUN CONTROL WILL SAVE US

Found on the web, improved it | Dec 5, 2015 | Derivative work by Laz A. Mataz
MUSLIM: “We did this because our holy texts exhort us to to do it.”
DEMOCRAT: “No you didn’t.”
MUSLIM:”Wait, what? Yes we did…”
DEMOCRAT: “No, this has nothing to do with religion. You guys are just using religion as a front for social and geopolitical reasons.”
MUSLIM: “WHAT!? Did you even read our official statement? We give explicit Quranic justification. This is jihad, a holy crusade against pagans, blasphemers, and disbelievers.”
DEMOCRAT: “No, this is definitely not a Muslim thing. You guys are not true Muslims, and you defame a great religion by saying so.”
MUSLIM: “Huh!? Who are you to tell us we’re not true Muslims!? Islam is literally at the core of everything we do, and we have implemented the truest most literal and honest interpretation of its founding texts. It is our very reason for being.”
DEMOCRAT: “Nope. We created you. We installed a social and economic system that alienates and disenfranchises you, and that’s why you did this. We’re sorry.”
MUSLIM: “What? Why are you apologizing? We just slaughtered you mercilessly in the streets. We targeted unwitting civilians – disenfranchisement doesn’t even enter into it!”
DEMOCRAT: “Easy access to guns is what drives your anger.”
MUSLIM: “It’s not the guns! We will knife you, hang you, burn you, run you over, and bombs are easy to create in our kitchens! We don’t care about the guns! In fact, civilian might actually make it difficult for us!”
DEMOCRAT: “Obviously we need to ban all guns. We need to overturn the Second Amendment.”
MUSLIM: “By Allah, you are a motherless tool! The weapon is not the issue! Our Holy Jihad against you is the only thing that is important!”
DEMOCRAT: “Climate Change is the reason you rage against us. We deserve it.”
MUSLIM: “WHAT??!? What the hell does Climate Change have to do with this???”
DEMOCRAT: “Because of Climate Change, the oceans will rise by one-tenth of one inch, and that makes you furious….”
MUSLIM: (facepalms)
DEMOCRAT: “You see no future for your children because of Climate Change so you strap bombs on them and send them into shopping malls.
MUSLIM: “NO DAMMIT. It has NOTHING to do with Climate Change or Gun Control or ANYTHING like that! It is because we follow the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad, who tells us to put all unbelievers to the sword! We are commanded by Allah to kill you all!”
DEMOCRAT: “This is all caused by the fact we bullied gays and transgenders in our past. If we hadn’t been so mean, and accepted Bruce Jenner for the amazing woman he was all those years, you would not be trying to kill us. Please forgive us.”
MUSLIM: “ARE YOU INSANE??? We kill gays the moment we find them! We hang them by their necks any chance we can! Islam hates homosexuality!”
DEMOCRAT: “Listen, it’s our fault. We resisted resettling you in our country. We should have given you more welfare and food stamps. We don’t blame you for feeling unwelcome and lashing out.”
MUSLIM: “Seriously, stop taking credit for this! We worked really hard to pull this off, and we’re not going to let you take it away from us.”
DEMOCRAT: “No, we nourished your extremism. We accept full blame.”
MUSLIM: “OMG, how many people do we have to kill around here to finally get our message across?””
DEMOCRAT: “Gun control will fix this.”

Very good letter from someone that should know since he has been right smack in the middle for many many years.

One of our Service men posted this in a Toronto Sun article….

I don't typically go on rants or express my political beliefs here, but I just have to get this off my mind.
As some of you know, I'm active duty Army. Aside from that, I am a medic. I've spent 3 years of my life overseas in both Afghanistan and Iraq. I've seen some pretty atrocious sites caused by war, from both sides. I've picked up blown up body parts of friends and I've saved the lives of guys who were trying to kill me and my guys right before I was keeping them from their 72 virgins or whatever they believe awaits them on the other side.
Here is an unbiased truthful view to the Syrian refugee situation.
My first deployment to Iraq, in 2006, my unit voluntarily ran a childrens burn clinic outside of the FOB. It was a constant target for attacks. You would think that people wouldn't shoot mortars or rockets at their own children, but you would be wrong. We saw hundreds of children, from infants to 18 year olds. The overwhelming majority of the kids we saw (90% or better) were clear cases of abuse. These parents were literally dunking their kids in boiling water, or throwing hot chai at their kids faces... Yes, we're talking about babies, toddlers, kids not even old enough to understand why their parents would do these things to them. HUNDREDS of kids...
We saw quite a few of these kids that were sexually abused, both girls and boys. Their parents acted if nothing was wrong with this, even when confronted by our doctors. This is the mentality of their society, not the viewpoint of a few individuals... these beliefs have been accepted to the vast majority of these people. Many were educated, well dressed, well spoken men, but yet, they still raped their own children, and kept chai boys (if you don't know what that means, google it.)
During that deployment, we also captured the 3rd largest EFP cache that had ever been captured. There were hundreds of copper plates, homemade explosives, fake curbs to house the EFP's, hundreds of mortars and rockets and howitzer rounds, even an anti-aircraft gun. All of these things came from one place, Syria. Almost every single IED or EFP we found or hit could be traced back to Syria... A lot of the terrorists we captured were from SYRIA... Imagine that.
Fast forward a couple years, and I find myself in Helmand Province, in Afghanistan... We had a group of Afghani's that were paid to help guard our little mud hut in the middle of an Afghan village (I wasn't on a fob) These guys also kept a "chai boy" A boy, about 11 years old, who was there to serve these guys sexually. We heard him being sexually assaulted many times, but there was nothing we could do about it. We asked the police, the Afghan Army, and we were told the same thing every time.... it's their culture, and accepted as the norm....
Once again, we captured Syrian made explosives, weapons, and other items... We found Syrian passports during raids... And people out there want us to let these people into the US, with our kids, and near our wives. Near our schools, near our churches, synagogues, malls. Places where we should never have to fear being blown up, shot, kidnapped and tortured...
Don't forget what they did to the Egyptian Coptic Christians, or the Jordanian pilot... Don't forget about what they do to rape victims! They stone these women to death for being raped! They behead their own people. Do you think they will show mercy to you? Look at the rape statistics in Denmark, Sweden, Belgium. Facts don't lie... 97% of rapes committed in Sweden were committed by Muslim immigrants...
And you want 10,000 of these people here? Even if just 1% of these so called "refugees" were ISIS supporters or active ISIS terrorists, would that be acceptable to you?
Chew on it... think about it. Take a good look at your kids or your wife and decide if the risk is worth taking.

IT'S A DUCK

TOP 20 Things To Do To END Gun Violence
Written by John Kirkwood on December 3, 2015
1. Stop calling it gun violence. It is murder, mayhem, and terror that thugs, terrorists, and criminals carry out, the gun is just a tool.To men like Obama a gun is not a tool, but the blood of innocents, the ignorance of the panicked, and a fortunate crisis can be.
2. Support the police. And part of that support is letting them do their job and not forcing them to be extensions of the IRS or the Customs service. Cops should be crime fighters not armed union thugs who enforce Big Brother’s policy scams.
3. Prosecute the perps. Prison is for violent criminals, all others should be working and paying restitution.
4. No recidivists. You can’t support liberal policies toward incarceration and then bitch about crime in the streets.
5. Join the NRA. It’s the 2nd Amendment that protects all the others and the best defense against bad guys with guns is good guys with guns… and the electric chair.
6. Stop voting Democrat. The Democrat crushes hope in the inner city, subsidizes violence, attacks cops for doing their job, defends cop killers, releases violent criminals, wants to give the vote to convicts, and wants to confiscate guns from the law abiding.
7. Capital Punishment – one strike you’re out. Every life is precious. No 14 years of appeals. Cases that are in doubt could be reduced to life sentences but no 14 years of oil painting for killer clowns.
8. Teach morality in school. Let God back in and kick the NEA to the curb. And bring back Rifle Club.
9. Admit that terror exists and it’s mostly coming from the same schoolhouse. I mean Madrasa.
10. Ban all immigration from Muslim countries. No student visas, there are plenty of good schools in what’s left of Europe.
11. Monitor existing mosques. Why would they mind? Maybe the FBI agent will convert.
12. Ban the Gun Free Zone and vote out any politician who is against it while you demand that said politician foregoes his armed security.
13. Bring back treason. Any politician that calls for “gun control” assaults on our Bill of Rights should be prosecuted. In lieu of prosecution – tar and feathers.
14. Judge control – any judge that lets a known, convicted violent criminal back into society shall be complicit in any crimes that are committed and exposed to prosecution for said crimes.
15. If the murder rate or violent crime rises and is sustained for a defined period of time, control of major cities will be forfeit to the state. Detroit, Chicago, and Baltimore will be the first.
16. War on gangs. Have Pizza Man call a meeting with gang leaders and tell them that the next time a 9-year-old is shot on the South Side, Dennis Franz and Belker will be giving free colonoscopies.
17. Arm the Kurds and the Assyrians. Stop arming ISIS and Iran, and let Israel have some fun. Our Foreign policy is now inciting domestic terror.
18. Conceal and carry. Become proficient with a firearm, teach said proficiency to your children. Stockpile arms and ammunition. An armed society is a polite society and remember when it comes to crime – “It takes a village,” the police department is mostly a reactionary force.
19. Fight political correctness at every turn. Free speech is good. It’s even worth fighting and dying for. And I sure as Hell am not comfortable with Hollywood, New York, or The View dictating what I can say, teach, preach, print, or freaking tweet! And profiling works – just ask any cop, agent, “profiler,” or father of daughters.
20. Pray. Pray that the majority of Americans will have the fortitude and wisdom to do the previous 19.

Obama's Real Legacy: Ten Ticking Time Bombs

By Dean F. Clancy

Every president is finally remembered by a single sentence. George Washington was the father of our country and the first president.  Abraham Lincoln saved the Union and freed the slaves. Ronald Reagan revived the economy and defeated the Soviet Union.

What about Barack Obama? How will he be remembered? He was our first black president and killed bin Laden? He screwed up our health care? Not quite Mount Rushmore material, I’d say.

Still, it would be unfair to call President Obama an underachiever. He boasts a rather impressive legacy, in the negative column. How many presidents, after all, have managed to increase federal spending by one-fifth and the national debt by two-thirds? What president can compete with him on having expanded presidential power via executive action, often without legal authority?
Next to him, Nixon and LBJ look like schoolgirls. And who even comes close to his electoral record? Under Mr. Obama, Democrats have lost 69 House seats, 13 Senate seats, both houses of Congress, 12 governorships, 30 state legislative chambers, and more than 900 state legislative seats.  Let no one say this man was inconsequential.

Is it premature to define his legacy? Not really. Although he has nearly fourteen months to go, he is already the lamest of ducks. Just listen to his would-be Democratic successors: one strains to detect any proud talk of “the Obama Record” or spirited cries of “Win one more for Barack.” Our 44th president is as a political albatross and increasingly reminds one of the hapless Jimmy Carter in his final, miserable days. Indeed, the parallels with 1980 are eerie: Russia on the march, Iranian mullahs chanting “Death to America,” the economy stuck in the doldrums -- and so on.  At this late date it’s hard to see how Mr. Obama could alter the judgment that his has been a failed presidency.

And what exactly is his legacy? A collection of ticking time bombs, left behind to be defused or cleaned up after by his unfortunate successors. The list is seemingly endless, but ten strike me as particularly urgent and worrisome.

1.  Another Iraq war. With the Friday the 13th Paris Attacks, it’s clear we are once again at war in the Middle East. And while some of the blame must go to George W.  Bush for needlessly toppling Saddam Hussein in 2003, a good share of the blame must accrue to Mr. Obama, for having mismanaged the withdrawal so badly that a kind of Neo-Mordor has been able to erupt from out of nowhere to seize vast stretches of the Arabian peninsula. Mr. Obama’s half-hearted aerial bombardment campaign against ISIS, which seems designed to run out the clock on a problem deemed insoluble, has acted as an invitation to the Orc armies of radical Islam to bring the battle to us -- and has enticed Russia into filling the regional power vacuum. Public support for American boots on the ground is soft; but that could change with a single, Paris-style massacre on American soil. A Third Iraq War is no longer out of the question, and would be an ironic legacy for the 2009 winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. Prognosis: war.
2.  A nuclear Iran.  Supporters of Obama’s controversial Iran nuclear deal argue that it has bought us ten years -- a decade for Israel to figure out how to defend itself against a nuclear-armed theocracy bent on its destruction. But that argument optimistically assumes the mullahs aren’t planning to cheat. Photographic evidence suggests theyalready are.  Prognosis (for Israel): poor.
3.  A flat-lined “recovery.” Job growth remains so weak that our definition of what constitutes a “recovery” has been redefined downward. We’re generating a mere 230,000 new non-farm jobs a month -- too few to achieve escape velocity. Although Democrats are celebrating the fall of headline unemployment below 5 percent, the real unemployment rate is closer to 10 percent. Labor-force participation is historically low. Real wage growth is stalled. The stock market is essentially flat. The Fed has held interest rates at zero percent for seven years now, flooding the economy with cheap money; and while it is teasing markets with hints of a rate hike, under current conditions that could easily kill off what “recovery” there is.  Prognosis: continued malaise, with a chance of recession.
4.  Higher deficits. Even if the Fed holds off for now, the deficit, which is currently $439 billion, is expected to rise to $540 billion by 2020. When the Fed does pull the trigger, the deficit will shoot up because of higher borrowing costs and countercyclical welfare spending.  Everyone’s cost of borrowing for a home or automobile will go up, too. Prognosis: a run on aspirin.
5.  Higher energy costs.  On its way out the door, the Obama EPA has finalized an ambitious trio of massive environmental regulations aimed at winning its war on coalwar on carbon, and war on ponds and ditches. If the costly new rules aren’t stopped, U.S. coal-fired power plants, and affordable energy prices, can be expected to undergo manmade extinction.  Prognosis: the chills.
6.  Health care despair.  Economists are predicting large increases in ObamaCare premiums and deductibles for 2016 and 2017. In a normal insurance market, premiums and deductibles move in opposite directions. That’s no longer the case under the ironically named, and still unpopular, Affordable Care Act. Meanwhile, enrollment in Obamacare seems to have leveled off and the exchanges show signs of having entered a death spiral. Twelve of 23 non-profit co-ops in the exchanges have gone belly up. This month UnitedHealthcare, the nation’s largest insurer, announced it has lost so much money on Obamacare, it will pull out of the program altogether unless it receives a multi-billion-dollar bailout. And then there’s the Cadillac Tax, a grand time bomb ticking away in the background and scheduled to go off in 2018. If not repealed or softened, its aftershocks will almost certainly level the employer-based system, from which half of the U.S. population currently gets its health insurance. Prognosis: a big Democratic push for single payer.
7.  A “food stamp” nation.  Over the past decade, the food stamps program has nearly doubled in size from 26 million to 46 million recipients (one in seven Americans) and more than doubled in cost from $29 billion to $64 billion a year. When the next recession hits, these figures will swell to historic highs. Democrats oppose common-sense reforms.  Prognosis: more dependency.
8.  Insolvent entitlements.  Entitlement reform has gone nowhere under Mr. Obama, despite the fact that Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Obamacare are among the fastest-growing sources of outlays. The various Social Security trust funds are all insolvent. The disability insurance trust fund is slated to go bankrupt by 2020; the hospital insurance fund, by 2030; and the big retirement fund, by 2034. Reforms are imperative. For example, SSDI enrollment has exploded over the past twenty years from 2.8 percent of the working-age population to 5.1 percent; lax rules have morphed the program into a form of unemployment insurance. For Democrats, the only entitlement “reforms” they’ll discuss are proposals to make the programs bigger and more redistributive. Prognosis: higher taxes.
9.  A needless crime wave.  The murder rate is going up again in a number of American cities, in the wake of the riots in Ferguson and Baltimore -- racially charged tragedies that Mr. Obama has tried to exploit for partisan gain. Thousands of criminals are poised to hit the streets again, thanks to his end-of-term efforts to reduce the national prison population. Criminal aliens continue to enter the country under his porous-borders policies.  Prognosis: mayhem.
10.  Conscience wars.  The Left is following the inescapable logic of its fundamental rejection of human nature and common sense.  With Mr. Obama’s active support, our elites are now determined to make us all cooperate in same-sex “marriage,” to accept a radical redefinition of gender, and to pay for other people’s contraceptives and elective abortions. Freedom of speech, religious liberty, the rights of conscience, and even intelligible grammar and clear thought, must all be sacrificed to the gods of sexual liberation.  Prognosis: sustained unpleasantness, with a chance of civil unrest.
There is always hope, of course. Perhaps our 45th president will help us regain our senses and turn these messes around. The night is darkest just before the dawn. But whatever happens, surely Mr. Obama has secured for himself a prominent place in the annals of failure.

THIS IS NOT A SAFE SPACE

Oklahoma university president: School is not a ‘day care’ or ‘safe space’

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Updated: Monday, November 30, 2015, 9:26 AM
An Oklahoma university president has an incendiary message to politically correct students: Grow up or get out.
"This is not a day care," Everett Piper, president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University, wrote in a fiery blog post on the school’s website last week.
"This is a university!"
Thanks to a new wave of political protests on college campuses — like the recent upheavals at the University of Missouri, Yale University and Ithaca University — many colleges are scrambling to provide safe spaces and broader discussions about cultural and racial tensions on campus.
Oklahoma Wesleyan University President Everett Piper slams PC campus culture in a new blog post.

Oklahoma Wesleyan University President Everett Piper slams PC campus culture in a new blog post.

Piper, president of a private evangelical Christian university with about 1,200 students, is having none of it.
His post starts by railing against a student who said he felt “victimized” by an on-campus sermon about love.
"Our culture has actually taught our kids to be this self-absorbed and narcissistic!" Piper writes.
The president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University said the school is not a "safe space."

The president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University said the school is not a "safe space."

"Any time their feelings are hurt, they are the victims!...If you want the chaplain to tell you you’re a victim rather than tell you that you need virtue, this may not be the university you’re looking for."
Piper insists the school is "not a 'safe space,' but rather, a place to learn....This is a place where you quickly learned that you need to grow up!"
This hardly Piper’s first firebomb editorial against liberal values. As a weekly columnist for Bartlesville’s Examiner-Enterprise, the university president has written recent editorials criticizing transgender activism, defending law-breaking Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis and opposing the Supreme Court’s legalization of gay marriage.
Piper could not be immediately reached for comment.

Lar Of Galen...Did you ever notice that almost every officer killed ILD is a family man who held strong religious beliefs, but the thugs the media waxes and wails about are just worthless, selfish criminal POSs from and/or with a fractured family?
Did you also notice that almost everyone I send emails to is/was involved in law enforcement and/or the military?

Today I Remember...
Today we remember U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Dwight Filley Davis (July 5, 1879 - November 28, 1945). Lt. Col. Davis served in the United States Army during World War I and was a professional tennis player and politician.
In 1900 Davis developed the structure for, and donated a silver bowl to go to the winner of a new international tennis competition known as the... "International Lawn Tennis Challenge", which was later renamed the "Davis Cup" in his honor. He was a member of the U.S. team that won the first two Davis Cup competitions in 1900 and 1902, and was the captain of the 1900 team.
Davis served President Calvin Coolidge as Secretary of War from 1925–1929, and then served as Governor General of the Philippines from 1929–1932 under President Herbert Hoover. He passed away in 1945, at the age of 66, and now rests in section 2.
Who are you remembering today?

Twelve Reasons Why The Paris Climate Talks Are A Total Waste

1. There has been no ‘global warming’ since 1997
monckton1
So, of all the children round the world currently being taught in schools about the perils of man-made global warming, not a single one has lived through a period in which the planet was actually warming.
2. The polar bears are doing just great.
As they have been for the last five decades, during which time their population has increased roughly five-fold. So why does the IUCN still classify them as “vulnerable”? Because the environmentalists needed a cute, fluffy white poster-child for their “the animals are dying and it’s all our fault” campaign, and the snail darter and the California delta smelt just didn’t cut it. So various tame conservation biologists came up with all sorts of nonsense about how polar bear populations were dwindling and how the melting of the ice floes would jeopardize their ability to feed themselves etc. How can you tell a conservation biologist is lying? When his lips move.
3. Antarctica is growing.
According to the greenies, this just wasn’t meant to happen. But it is. Even NASA admits this.
4. The Maldives aren’t sinking
Or, if they are, their government is responding in a very odd way. Just a few years back, they were staging photos of their Cabinet meeting underwater to symbolize how threatened they were by “climate change” – a problem that could only be cured, apparently, with the donation of large sums of guilt money from rich Western industrialized nations. But a few months ago they completed work on their 11th international airport. So that all the climate refugees caused by global warming can escape quickly, presumably.
5. Ocean acidification is a myth
If I were an eco-Nazi I would seriously think about killing myself at this point. Ocean acidification was supposed to be their Siegfried Line – the final line of defense if, as has grown increasingly obvious over the last few years, “anthropogenic global warming” theory proved to be a busted flush. But it turns out that ocean acidification is as big a myth as man-made climate change. a) it’s based on dubious, possibly even fraudulent, research and b) if anyone’s acidifying the ocean it’s those wretched bloody coral reefs
6. The alarmist climate scientists are talentless low-lives who cannot be trusted
Possibly there are exceptions to this rule, somewhere. But just look at NASA GISS, NOAA and the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia/Hadley Centre at the Met Office – three of the main organizations responsible for maintaining the world’s temperature data sets.
NASA has been caught red handed turning cooling trends into warming trends. NOAA is currently under Congressional investigation for its mendacious, politicised attempts to pretend that the “Pause” in global warming doesn’t exist. The CRU was ground zero of theClimategate scandal. The Met Office is a joke. Yet these shysters have the gall to demand that the world’s leaders take urgent action on the basis of their dodgy data.
7. Winter Is Coming
Sunspot activity is diminishing in a manner worryingly similar to that experienced during the Maunder Minimum (1645 to 1715) when ice fairs were staged on the River Thames and the Dalton Minimum  (1790 to 1830) which gave us Napoleon’s retreat from Moscow and the Year Without A Summer. Some scientists are predicting the imminent return of a Little Ice Age.
8. CO2 is greening the planet
The Sahel region in Africa is getting greener and more fertile. This is something we should be celebrating, not trying clumsily and expensively to prevent.
9. There has been no increase in “extreme weather events”.
Who says so? The IPCC in its most recent Assessment Report. Droughts, heatwaves, heavy rain events, cyclones, storms: they just haven’t increased in the alarmists assured us they would.
10. People are losing interest in global warming.
A) they don’t believe it’s a real threat, b) they keep being reminded of things that ARE real threats
11. $1.5 trillion is a lot of money to pay every year for a problem that doesn’t exist
This, according to Climate Change Business Journal, is how much it costs every year to “combat climate change.”  $1,500,000,000,000 may not sound like a lot of money when the world’s polar bears, not to mention “the children of the future” are at stake. But you’d be surprised: spend $1,500,000,000,000 here and $1,500,000,000,000 there and pretty soon you’re talking serious money.
12. It will make (almost) no difference
If all the world’s leading nations stick to the carbon-reduction commitments they will make in Paris this week, then they will stave off “global warming” by the end of this century by 0.170 degrees C.
Oh – and that’s the optimistic scenario, calculated by Bjorn Lomborg, assuming that countries like, say, China don’t lie or cheat about how much CO2 they’re burning secretly.
His more pessimistic – ie more realistic – scenario is that the best we can hope for is a reduction in global warming by the end of the century of 0.048 degrees C.
This temperature reduction – five hundredths of one degree – is so small as to be almost immeasurable. But if you want to know what it feels like, Willis Eschenbach has done the calculations. It’s the equivalent of walking five metres higher up a mountain. Or, if you prefer, climbing two flights of stairs.
And there you have it: the lunacy of the Paris climate conference in one sentence: $1.5 trillion every year till the end of the century to effect the equivalent of walking to your bedroom.
